AP YSR Cheyutha Scheme Launched
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Cheyutha through video conferencing on August 12 from the Chief Minister's Cap office in Tadepalli, Amravati. Financial assistance will be provided to women through this scheme. The budget of this scheme is Rs.1700 crores and this year the government has set a budget of Rs.4687 crores. This amount will be sent directly to the beneficiary's bank account. In this scheme, all those women who become 45 years of age on 12 August every year will be eligible in this scheme. And those whose age exceeds the upper age limit of 60 years, then they will stop getting the benefit of this scheme.
YSR Cheyutha Scheme Cattle Purchase
Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Cheyutha Scheme on 26 November 2020. In this scheme, all the beneficiaries will be supported to sell their produce to Amul. YSR Cheyutha scheme purpose to distribute cattle to all beneficiaries. This cattle also includes cow, buffalo, goat and sheep.
- Under YSR Cheyutha scheme, milk will be collected from women at 9688 centers and at the same time government will provide facility to collect milk in Rythu Bharosa centers. Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to spend 5386 crores for the purchase of cattle.
- Permanent purchase of animals will be done from November 24 to November 26 and about 1 lakh cattle will be purchased before February 2021. These cattle will be purchased from the states of Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka

YSR Cheyutha Scheme Payment Status Phase 2
Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the second installment of YSR Cheyutha Scheme. On 13 November 2020, the second installment of YSR Cheyutha Yojana was released by the Andhra Pradesh government for Rs. 510 crores for 2.72 lakh beneficiaries. This benefit amount has been released by Ministers Shri Peddireddy Ramchandra and Botsa Satyanarayana. Those who did not get the benefit of this scheme in the first phase will get money in the second phase.
In the first phase of YSR Cheyutha scheme, the government has provided Rs 3,937.90 crore to 21,00,189 beneficiaries from Rs 18,750. The scheme has committed to strengthen the rural economy. Under YSR Cheyutha scheme, 75,000 rupees will be transferred to the bank account of every beneficiary over a period of 4 years. With this financial support, women belonging to ST, SC, BC and minority communities, who are in the age group of 45 to 60 years, will get benefits.

The Chief Minister also said that 8 lakh widows and single women, who are between 45 and 60 years of age, are getting pension at the rate of Rs 27000 every year. Apart from this, they will get Rs 18750 every year, whose total amount is Rs 45750 every year. The government of Andhra Pradesh aims to promote entrepreneurship among women through this scheme. The Chief Minister said that the government has signed a memorandum of understanding with some companies like Amul, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Reliance etc. to strengthen the rural economy. YSR Cheyutha Scheme New Update
The Chief Minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has launched the YSR Cheyutha Yojana on Wednesday 12 August 2020. Through this scheme, women whose age is 45 to 60 years will be given financial assistance of Rs 75000 for 4 years. This amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiary's bank account. In these 4 years, every year Rs. 18750 will be given to the beneficiaries. She can spend this amount as she wishes.
The main objective of the government to start this scheme is to empower women. Therefore, the government has released a budget of Rs 17000 crore for this scheme. Information, public relations and ex-officio Mr. Thumma Vijay Kumar Reddy said that 23 lakh women belonging to SC, ST, BC and minority communities will be benefitted from this scheme.
Implementation of YSR Cheyutha Scheme
The state government of Andhra Pradesh has released the YSR Cheyutha Yojana on 12 August 2020. And on Monday 3 August 2020, the Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Unilever Limited, ITC and Procter & Gamble (P&G), these three companies.
